The innovation ecosystem actors of the Innovation Pact Belize include the following: the Government, firms of all sizes, associations, investors, academia, the media, and citizens in general. Each actor contributes to innovative and sustainable solutions that positively impact the Belize’s development and, therefore, Belize’s competitiveness and growth.
Why should you Join?
The voluntary signing of the Innovation Pact reflects the commitment of organizations to increase their investment in science, technology, and innovation activities, understanding that these will be the engine for the growth and development of their companies. Signing the Innovation Pact means your firm will:
- Actively contribute to the economic and social development of Belize by driving innovation and an innovation culture in your firm
- Learn about the strengths and weaknesses of its innovation capabilities and how to improve upon its identified weaknesses
- Be able to access programs focused on supporting your firm in building its innovation capabilities and investing in innovation activities
How can you join the Innovation Pact?
Your organization will become a signatory of the Innovation Pact Belize upon completing the Innovation Autodiagnostic. The Innovation Autodiagnostic is an online self-assessment tool that provides the signatory with a current state in innovation and digital transformation capabilities, and proposes a roadmap composed of a series of actions to close the gaps detected.
What are your next steps?
In November, you will be invited to join us for a symbolic ceremony to launch the Innovation Pact. It will involve high level officials and business leaders who will symbolically sign the manifesto of the Innovation Pact and be an example and guide for the other signatories.
