Global COM Ltd. is a recently established contact call center development in Belize’s ever growing business process outsourcing (BPO) industry since March of 2014. The company offers services in customer care, telemarketing, technical support and data entry servicing inbound and outbound clients in the automotive and real estate industries. “As an entrepreneur in Canada with my company established for over ten years, I was looking to outsource services to enable cost reductions and was considering the Philippines and India. Coral Caye Ltd.
Coral Caye Ltd. is an aquaculture and tourism development in Southern Belize near the Placencia peninsula that has been working with the team at BelizeINVEST since May of 2014.
“My wife and I came to Belize with our nine and a half year old daughter and eight year old son. We have never been to what we thought was such an exotic location and didn’t know what the country would be like. In fact, we had visions of trudging through the rain forest like Indiana Jones complete with wild beasts, snakes, and other unexpected jungle surprises. What we encountered was far different that our expectations. We found the people to be warm and friendly, the beaches to be more beautiful than described and snorkeling in the abundant ocean environment to be nothing we could ever imagine. In short, we fell in love with Belize.
Our family has a particular interest in putting together projects that would be beneficial for health with an emphasis in helping children grow up healthy and happy. Mary and I wanted to start an aquaculture project and found BelizeINVEST Beltraide. We met Hero Balani and Brian Lin and told them of our interests. From there the team introduced us to the Fisheries Department, Association of Real Estate Brokers, Department of the Environment, Lands Department, and Fishing Cooperatives to help us develop our aquaculture initiative. Along the way, we found those we met courteous, helpful and welcoming of our interests and Project.
In searching for the grounds for our project, Beltraide helped guide us with establishing key relationships, mentoring with regard to Belizean cultures and business attitudes, clearly establishing our key interests and focusing on Mary and my interests in aquaculture and healthcare.
Recently, we purchased a caye off the Placencia Coast called French Louie Caye and have been ever since operating this small resort. This resort is the beginning of our investment in Belize and we are well on our way to establishing the aquaculture project through the diligent work with the Beltraide team.
